Four Ells film festival
The Four Ells (Living, Laughter, Life and Love) started life in September 2006 as an innovative and inspirational filmmaking experience for teachers and young students filmmakers across London. The festival is a celebration of months of hard work, enthusiasm and determination from all the partners and schools involved across this project.
The Four Ells is about exploring learning though film, having a go, making mistakes, sharing, being creative, innovating and most importantly having fun! Last year fifteen schools in Brent created 39 films which were shown across a four-day period in March at the Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn.
This year over 40 schools have come together from the London Boroughs of Brent, Hounslow and Haringey to take part in a four-week festival in collaboration with the Tricycle Theatre in Brent, the Watermans Arts Centre in Hounslow, Cineplex-Wood Green in Haringey and the British Film Institute in Central London.
I hope you can join us to celebrate the fantastic work of London's new young and innovative film makers.
